A dry, fruity, full-bodied rosé from Bot, in the south of Catalonia. It is made from three varieties (44 % syrah, 36 % garnacha and 20 % mazuelo) and is more of a rosé for the table than for aperitifs.

Description

This is a rosé that will carry you through a whole meal: fresh to start with, and with enough body not to get lost alongside sliced meats. It goes wonderfully with a plate of Iberico ham or shoulder, with thinly sliced beef cecina, with sheep's cheeses and with Iberico cured sausages.

Who makes it: the Cooperativa Agrícola Sant Josep in Bot, a winegrowers' cooperative founded in 1962. Brau de Bot is its oldest brand, and it takes its name from the ‘brau’, the bull that, as tradition has it, grazed beside the hermitage of Sant Josep.

How it arrives and how to serve it

How it arrives: one 750 ml bottle, well protected inside a cardboard box for shipping.

Store it at a constant temperature of between 8 and 15 ºC. We only ship it within Spain.
