A whole piece, always
Ham or shoulder from our curing house in Castilla y León, carved with a knife from start to finish in front of your guests. If the event calls for more, whole pieces are added.

A professional carver
The carver arrives an hour early with the ham stand, knives and everything else needed, then spends about two hours carving each piece into thin slices, putting on a show as they work.

You just provide the table and the plates
We take care of the rest. When it's over, whatever is left of the piece and the bone are yours: we leave them ready for you.

Barcelona and the surrounding area
Travel is included within Barcelona and its metropolitan area, up to about 25 km. If the event is further away, ask us.

We carve acorn-fed and free-range grain-fed hams and shoulders, cured in our curing house in Castilla y León. Since 1973, piece by piece. You can drop by our shop in Sant Andreu to see which ones to choose from.

Frequently asked questions
What does the service include?
The whole Castanoble piece of your choice, the professional carver for the carving, their equipment (ham stand and knives) and travel within Barcelona and its metropolitan area. The venue only needs to provide a table and the plates.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the piece and on how many are needed for your guests. Tell us about the event in the form and we'll send you a fixed quote, with no obligation, within one working day.
How much ham do I need?
As a guide, for a drinks reception with other dishes: up to 50 guests, one shoulder; from 50 to 110, one ham; beyond that, one more piece for each band. If the ham is the star, allow double. We'll advise you when we prepare the quote.
How long does the carving last?
The carver arrives an hour early to set up and carves for about two hours per piece. With more than one piece, the carving takes longer or two carvers come.
What happens to the leftovers?
It's yours. The carver leaves you whatever is left of the piece, properly prepared, and the bone separately, which is perfect for stock.
Can I see the piece beforehand?
Yes. You can drop by our shop in Sant Andreu (Passeig de Torras i Bages, 117) and we'll show you the pieces to choose from.
Can you give me an invoice?
Yes, an invoice in your name or your company's, with VAT included.
