This page explains, in English, how to order, how much delivery costs and how long it takes. Castanoble has been curing ham since 1973.
How to order, in four steps
Choose your country
At the top of every page you will find “Ship to”. Pick the country where the parcel will be delivered. All prices are in euros and include VAT.
Add to your basket
On each product page press “Add to basket”. For whole hams and shoulders you first choose the weight of the piece and how cured you like it.
Enter your address
Open the basket and press “Proceed to checkout”. Enter your delivery address; the exact shipping cost for your country and the weight of your order is shown before you pay. Businesses from another EU country with a valid VAT number: with a customer account, tick the box “I'm a business in another EU country and want to buy without VAT” at this step; if the parcel is delivered to the country of that VAT number, VAT is removed once the number is validated.
Pay and confirm
Choose how to pay and press “Place order and pay”. You will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
How to pay
You can pay by credit or debit card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, from any country. If you pay from outside Spain, you can also use PayPal. Depending on the country you pay from, you will also be offered your local method: iDEAL (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), EPS (Austria), Satispay (Italy), MB WAY (Portugal) or Bizum (Spain).
Payments are processed by Stripe with strong customer authentication. Your card number goes straight to the payment provider, encrypted: we never see it or store it. There is no surcharge for any payment method, and the price you see before confirming is the price you pay.
Where we deliver and what it costs
We deliver to 27 countries of the European Union. Orders are prepared in 1–2 working days; the estimated delivery time below counts from the day your parcel leaves us, and around Christmas it may take longer. Shipping prices include VAT and depend on the total weight of the parcel.

- As a guide: a few packs of sliced ham stay under 2 kg; a whole ham on the bone, in its box, travels in the 10 kg or the 20 kg band depending on the piece. Orders over 20 kg travel as more than one parcel. You always see the exact cost before you pay.
- Free delivery applies only to mainland Spain, on orders of €100 or more.
- We do not deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Madeira, the Azores, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and the French overseas territories, or to any country outside the European Union (including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway).
- The same applies to a few territories that have their own tax or customs rules: Livigno, Campione d'Italia, San Marino, Vatican City, Büsingen, Heligoland, the Åland Islands, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Northern Ireland, Mount Athos, and northern Cyprus.
- Wine and other alcoholic drinks, and gift boxes that contain them, can only be delivered within Spain.
- In every case, delivery takes place within 30 calendar days of your order.
If something is not right
If your order arrives damaged or with a mistake, please email us within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and photos (this does not limit your statutory rights). Once we have checked it, we replace the product or refund you, at no shipping cost to you. As a consumer you can also withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, in which case the cost of sending it back is yours. This does not apply, for hygiene reasons, to food whose seal has been opened or to a piece that has been started, nor to fresh products with a short shelf life, because they spoil quickly.
