Buying Iberico ham online: how to choose
All our hams are cured in our curing house in Castilla y León, and you can order them whole, boneless or sliced. The label tells you the quality: black for 100% Iberico acorn-fed ham, red for acorn-fed, green for free-range grain-fed and white for grain-fed. Separately, outside the Iberico Quality Standard, there is our Gran Reserva, a Duroc cross.
With a whole piece you choose the weight and how cured you like it, and a specialist selects the piece for you; the price per kilo is always shown. If you're torn between qualities, start with what each label colour means and what changes between grain-fed, free-range grain-fed and acorn-fed; to get the size right, read how to choose the weight and curing. And if there are only a few of you at home, take a look at our Iberico shoulders too.
