A medium-bodied, fruity red from Terra Alta, in southern Catalonia. The 2024 vintage is a blend of ull de llebre (tempranillo), cabernet sauvignon, merlot, tintorera and cariñena, and it is made only from grapes the growers harvest themselves: each variety is vinified separately.

Description

Who makes it: the Cooperativa Agrícola Sant Josep in Bot, a winegrowers' cooperative founded in 1962. Brau de Bot is its oldest brand (in fact, for years it was its only bottled red) and the name comes from the brau, the bull that, according to tradition, grazed beside the hermitage of Sant Josep and ended up giving the village its name.

This is an everyday table wine, not one for special occasions: ideal with cured sausages, mature cheeses and stews. Serve between 14 and 16 ºC.

How it arrives: one 750 ml bottle, well protected inside a cardboard box for shipping.

Store it at a constant temperature, between 8 and 15 ºC. We only ship it within Spain.
